On 7 October 2019 athics won the call hub innovation ideas, a loan for 33 companies capable of bringing real innovation to the market. Athics participated, with other important players, with a project called RE-HUB-ILITY (Rehubilitative personalized home system and virtual coaching for chronic treatment in elderly), one of the projects that secured the resources deployed by the Regione Lombardia for a total amount of 114.5 million euros.

The RE-HUB-ILITY project is under control of the Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri, includes athics, l’Università di Napoli and the companies Info Solution, Digital Tales, Life Charger, Medas, BTS and makes use of the collaboration of the Facoltà di Ingegneria dell’Università degli Studi di Pavia and Facoltà di Psicologia dell’Università Cattolica di Milano.

athics helps the RE-HUB-ILITY project with the artificial intelligence component

The aim of the project is to “develop new techniques, systems and devices for cognitive and motor rehabilitation at home, helping to redefine the Lombard regional assistance system” by putting different enabling technologies in the system.

An integral part of the project is also the development of motion sensors and wearable vital functions, with telematic connection and Artificial Intelligence modules.

The event “Call hub innovation ideas” will be streamed on 20 July

The Regione Lombardia created an event last February 27, 2020 dedicated to innovative ideas capable of responding to the needs of citizens and the territory but due to the emergency from covid-19 it was canceled.

Now the event has been repeated on July 20, 2020 from 10:00 in live streaming.
Athics will be happy to present the project together with the partners in the afternoon session, from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm where it will be possible to meet “face to face” in an entirely virtual and interactive way.

For each partnership 5 appointments of 15 minutes are scheduled, bookable through a calendar from the Open Innovation pages dedicated to each project.
