Scenario
The Scaligera Association for Assistance to Crime Victims (ASAV) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the protection of crime victims, collaborating with public and private institutions and organizations. The Association provides counseling, guidance, and information on rights through the free service Rete Dafne Verona.
To improve access to social, health, and welfare services, ASAV has chosen Crafter.ai to develop a support chatbot to victims of violence. The Conversational AI solution combines a web scraping application that can automatically map and update data on local organizations and facilitate user access to services.
The Solution
The ASAV Support Chatbot combines a web scraping system to automatically update association data with a virtual assistant based on generative AI, capable of responding to user requests in natural language.
The chatbot, which can be queried with simple questions, returns the closest support contacts based on the user's problem, age, and geographic location. The collected data can be exported to Excel or JSON format and updates the knowledge base in real time.
The chatbot is a practical and accessible tool for directing people to the most suitable support.
Results Achieved
Accessibility: Thanks to automatic geolocation, the solution allows users in need of support and assistance to quickly and accurately locate the nearest social, health, and welfare services.
Reliability: The virtual assistant provides accurate and consistent answers, increasing confidence in service's reliability and the completeness of the data provided.
User experience: Thanks to the ability to understand natural language and adapt to the specific needs of users, the system significantly improves interaction, making the search for information more efficient and satisfying.
